Post Overlay of Framesets

You may want to add a permanent frame or other graphic element ("bug") to your screens. This element will be static in front of your regular content and not affected by transitions. Much like when you watch network TV and the network logo is on the bottom corner. These elements can be either still or video. For stills, use a .PNG file for video Flash with transparency works well.

Here is how you make it work:

In Designer:
Make a new script the same size as the channel.
Add a Plain page, add your frame graphic as a clip.
Make the graphic global (in the Misc tab).
Go back to the Main view.
Right-click on the page and select Disable.
Add a Special Event. Give it a Timing setting of Wait Forever.
Save and publish the script.

In Content Manager:
Add a new frame to your channel that is the entire size of the screen.
Make a new playlist.
Add the script you published to the playlist.
Schedule the playlist in the new frame you created.

Just wanted to pop a quick reply here. I'd been pretty frustrated with trying to find a way to do this by looking through the traditional User Guide for Designer. Your post was one of those "light bulb" moments for me. I was pretty sure I should be able to do this, but hadn't had much luck on my own. Thanks for the simple post that worked great!
